About Our Redwood Store...
Easterseals Central California (ESCC) is a non-profit organization serving children and adults with disabilities. Every year, ESCC depends on fundraising efforts to close budgetary gaps. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our traditional fundraising events were cancelled (including our 20th annual Golf Tournament presented by Anlin Windows.Doors).
This new reality prompted us to get creative. We polled our staff, families, donors and volunteers; and after a couple months of research and development, we're excited to bring you our Redwood Store!
New products will drop every couple of months, check back often!
About Michael Jordan Griggs
Who is Michael Jordan Griggs...
Mike Griggs is one of many Easterseals Central California’s Ambassadors who have helped to spread awareness about our disability services and programs by sharing their personal stories. He attended our Camp Harmon summer camp for more than 10 years and truly believes the magic
of camp saved and transformed his life.
Today, Mike holds an associate degree in Paralegal Studies from Los Angeles Mission College and is a state certified paralegal. We are especially pleased to have Mike serve as a Consultant for Easterseals. In this role, he advises our Leadership Team, and presents to staff, clients, and Board members on a wide range of topics including accessibility, inclusivity, and tips for staying motivated when the weight of the world gets you down. He is also an active member of our Marketing and Development Team.
Mike does not deny his disability, but rather embraces it. When he began shifting his perspective about his disability, he found his purpose. He rolls through life
with a desire to uplift his community with every chance he gets.
